Position Overview

The Game Master is responsible for delivering exceptional, immersive experiences for guests at 4 Dreams Escape. This role combines customer service, live game hosting, technical oversight, and operational support. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, professional, and passionate about creating memorable experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience

• Welcome guests with enthusiasm and explain game rules clearly.
• Deliver engaging game briefings and immersive storytelling.
• Monitor games in real time and provide hints when appropriate.
• Ensure each team has a safe, fun, and memorable experience.
• Celebrate teams at completion and encourage reviews.

Game Operations

• Reset rooms quickly and accurately between bookings.
• Test puzzles, locks, props, and electronics before each session.
• Troubleshoot minor technical issues during gameplay.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of rooms and lobby.
• Report maintenance needs to management.

Administrative & Sales Support

• Assist with check-ins, waivers, and POS transactions.
• Upsell private events, birthday parties, and corporate bookings.
• Promote memberships, special offers, and future bookings.
• Support social media engagement (photos with guest permission).

Qualifications & Requirements

• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident speaking to groups of 2–12 guests.
• Excellent customer service mindset.
• Strong multitasking ability under time pressure.
• Detail-oriented and dependable.
• Comfortable with basic technology (tablets, POS systems, light troubleshooting).
• Reliable transportation and punctuality.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability and willingness to work at multiple 4 Dreams Escape locations when needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working at an escape room is highly desirable, but not required.
• Experience in hospitality, theater, events, or customer service.
• Interest in puzzles, gaming, or immersive entertainment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Lift up to 25 lbs.
• Move quickly between rooms and lobby.
